Secret Diary Books publishing was born from a love of children and children's literature.
The children's section at a bookshop is one of my happy places and somewhere time doesn't exist. I can get lost in there amongst the clever titles, reading the delicious new pages and seeing the glorious illustrations. Our bookshelves at home are filled with great, colourful Children's Books.
I am so happy to be able to see my books appearing on bookshelves now too!
My love of writing started when I was in Primary School and I wrote my first book at age 8 - The Very Cheeky Monkey. I still remember the notebook and the feel of its cover. I may have to revisit this one and see if it is ready for editing....
Thank you for buying my books for your children and for sharing my passion for seeing our children thrive and laugh and love reading.

Secret Diary
I wrote Secret Diary for my daughter when she was 6 years old, after she brought home a tiny diary in a party bag. It was smaller than my palm and was ready for secrets....this is where secret diary was born. The words filled the blank little pages and the magic was there. It was hers/ours and years later I published it for everyone - to share in the cheekiness, delight and joy of this fun little diary. The Secret Diary Series will have book number 2 and 3 available soon.
I Did a Boom Boom
I Did A Boom Boom was born from my children's laughter. Creating the story of a boy yelling statements of doing A Boom Boom and opening doors to a music room, a play room, the back yard and the bathroom all while fun trickery was occurring and no actual Boom Booms were taking place. The joy of hearing children read this hilarious book and sing the Boom Boom song is unreal. Happy toileting families, you're welcome.
